Greetings from sunny Queensland, Australia! My name is Helen and I am a freelance artist, who loves to create illustrations, surface designs and hyper-realistic drawings.

Hi and Welcome!

As a former environmental scientist, I am passionate about nature and our beautiful environment. Flora and fauna have been my main source of inspiration and ideas, but also Norther Europe folklore and native fabric patterns.

I love to use pen and paper, but also enhancing and mixing  hand made drawings with software opportunities. Despite endless ways and mediums available, I like to use limited palettes, soft natural textures and colours.

I was born in Estonia (Europe) and second half of my life, I have been living in Australia, Queensland. Coming from a very dark grey and cold country to a very different place, has thought me to blend the beauty of both worlds. I believe, it is not only important what we see, it is also, how art makes us feel. And yes, I really hope my work warms the hearts.
